i don’t like necessarily being held down or have reality thrown at me because accepting that life isn’t fair it a hard pill for me to swallow.

but you are my anchor. you are what i need to bring me back down to earth. being what i need as opposed to just appeasing to my “i want, i want, i want” is what made me fall in love with you, really. i would never be able to love a pushover. i need someone that’s going to push back and let me know that the world is at my fingertips, but it doesn’t revolve around me.
